An experiment using FM synthesis but replacing the sine function with two cubic Bezier curves. When the ratio between carrier and modulator frequencies is irrational, the result approximates noise with a very long period so that the time parameter can act like the seed.

Almost finished transcribing the Sega Racing Hero OST into midi (here played with Ableton's FM engine) .
Discovered this game recently , it's pretty much a version of outrun on a bike , same feels, same(ish) hardware & engine and a very cool OST I didn't know anything about.

Look at that, a new version of the opsix! So I guess it isn't discontinued! Kind of great news all around: new one doesn't have anything that makes me want to upgrade, but it's available for people who missed out on the original (which is maybe available again? or will be?) and in high-quality keyboard form for those who care about that (I actually prefer fewer keys/smaller size).
