    On 14 June the planes will fly across England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales, covering locations of significance to the Hercules' service and 47 Squadron which is standing down to await a new role.

    The Hercules has been flown by the RAF since 1966 in support of UK military and humanitarian relief operations.
