the bright sun, the rainbow, the big blue sky, then pine trees, green hills, a dove (!), maybe a new era of peace and beauty has dawned with the appearance of the saucers from the stars. They are perfect, featureles s discs reflecting a warm glow. Too perfect! The first response I have is a sort of creep-out. Like, oh no, where are they going with this? I get the feeling that all those people are going to be food soon. 🤣

I don't remember how much I paid for these books from the early 1970s about #UFOs #Aliens and #FlyingSaucers it couldn't have been much, maybe $3 bucks, maybe $4.
Most of the time I find really good deals at the auction house that had these. So I'm sure I didn't pay very much.

We've been watching the #FifthDoctor's era since the start of the year, and as much-maligned as 80s #DoctorWho was, I am constantly in awe of the spaceship design. These were the years following #StarWars and #Alien and you can see the aesthetic change in TV production design, from #FlyingSaucers and #Rocketships to industrial-looking #Military and #SpaceJockey craft

The Defense Department’s All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office "has found **no credible evidence thus far of extraterrestrial activity, off-world technology or objects that defy the known laws of physics**,” said Sean Kirkpatrick, the Pentagon’s chief UFO expert, to a Senate Subcommittee on Emerging Threats and Capabilities on Wednesday.
He also said that "I have indicators that some [anomalies] are related to foreign intelligence capabilities."
