And I never saw any use for electric airplanes… but having something be both airplane AND car would be the single area where having stuff electric powered would significantly make things easier?
No need to worry about what size and RPM your motor runs! Just use whatever fits! E-Motors are compact and light!
…you have to solve the battery-range problem for airplanes, but that's not that much harder than to carry two engines AND wheels AND tons of gearing?
