Had some pretty great rounds of #Fluxx this evening with a few people.
I won the last round through, what my husband likes to describe, as 10-20 minute turn. It was a case of me lining up cards to play and using opportunities for randomness to shift things in my favour.
Got an Action card that let me look through the discard pile for another action card or rule. I found one for stealing Keepers & I looked at the available keepers on the table and saw I was one theft away from the goal 😏 Yoink.

Nach ein paar ultra-lustigen Runden #IchHabeFertig zu fünft haben wir gestern zu dritt zwei Runden des geistigen Vorgängers #Fluxx gespielt. Beide Spiele sind wirklich albern, ich freue mich aber immer mit Leuten am Tisch zu sitzen die #Brettspiele auch nicht unbedingt ernst nehmen müssen. 😃
Danach wurden zu zweit Fluglinien gebaut und an #PanAm verkauft. Ich mag das Spiel sehr, insbesondere auch die Optik.
Zum Abschluss haben wir mit #Mlem ein paar Astrokatzen gestartet.

Anyone play the card game #Fluxx? What is your favorite pack? We just got Hundred Acre Woods and had a blast - looking for a good pairing to mix it up. Already played Zombies, Adventure Time, and Cthulhu packs via friends as well so won’t buy those.

Im #StarTrek #Adventskalender ist am "heutigen" 21. Dezember ein romulanischer Bird of Prey wie er in TOS zu sehen war. Nicht gerade das schönste Design in der Serie, finde ich. Aber das Modell gibt es gut wieder.

Gestern haben wir uns nach einem schnellen #NEINhorn wieder mit #RobinsonCrusoe auf die verfluchte Insel begeben. Zwei Mal "Insel der ~Kannibalen~ Giftfrösche" (wir haben das umbenannt weil sich Krieg gegen Eingeborene doof anfühlte 😶).
Krachend gescheitert. Einmal klassisch gestorben, einmal so aufs Überleben bedacht dass die Zeit ausgelaufen ist. In beiden Runden hatten wir zeitweise so viel Nahrung dass wir uns vom Spiel verhöhnt gefühlt haben.

Gestern gab es kleine aber lustige #Brettspiele:
Erst zwei Runden #NEINhorn (von @marcuwekling). Auf der Schachtel steht dass es ab sechs ist, wir waren zwei bis neunmal so alt. Zum fotografieren bin ich nicht gekommen, wir haben Tränen gelacht! 🤣
Dann zweimal #Worms zu zweit. Selbstmord durch Betonesel hilft echt nicht wenn man das auch mal gewinnen will.
Und zum Abschluss zwei Runden DS9 #Fluxx. Zumindest die konnte ich dann - beide Male durch Einsatz der Holosuite - für mich entscheiden. 🖖 -

Let's be honest: they probably looked for the #Fluxx hashtag and spread some favs. Whatever: I'll take it. 😎

Das war ein netter #Brettspiele Abend. Nach mehr als vier Jahren wieder #Sagrada, zum ersten Mal mit Tochter. Dann weiter zu dritt #QuacksalberVonQuedlinburg und #Cabanga. Zwischendurch ist die Tochter einem plötzlichen Drang gefolgt und hat Zimtschnecken gebacken.
Als Absacker dann nur noch zu zweit #Fluxx, erstmals in der Star Trek TNG Version.Kann man alles gut machen, gerne öfter. 😎

Fordi I fortjener det, og fordi det åbenbart er sådan, tosserne omgås efterhånden! Dette er det første af fire specialafsnit.

Here are some notable #boardgames that we've been playing the past few weeks.
#Lacuna: This game describes itself as "cozy". I suppose that fits, but don't let it fool you. There's tight little abstract game hiding in that tube. I only wish the playing mat was a tad smaller so that we didn't have to clear off so much of the table every time we want to play it.
#SeaSaltandPaper: Still really like this game. Our current go to coffee shop game.
#Acquire: This game is fantastic! I can't believe it took so long for me to play it. Few games weave the theme and gameplay together as well as this one. I can't wait to play it some more!
#LordsOfWaterdeep: I was shocked at how simple the rules were. Definitely enjoyed it a lot!
#TicketToRide_LegendsoftheWest: Three games in. Pretty good so far! I fear the game will feel bloated and take too long by the end, but we'll see.

I've been playing a lot of the solo rules of #Fluxx and thought it would be nice to have the rules as a Pocketmod, so I used #Scribus to layout anew 8-page PDF, and made that into #pocketmod format. Today Looney Labs released free solo rules for their Fluxx games. I haven't played any Fluxx in a few years, but I do like the simple mechanics from the game. Today I played a solo game of Pirate Fluxx using the new rules and enjoyed it. I completed only 2 goals in my game, but it was a fun way to break up my last day of work for the year.

Now for three peaceful weeks of resting, thinking, coding and #fluxx.
