  3. Wallpaper №2121 - Abstract Waves in Red, Black and White

A bold and visually striking abstract wallpaper featuring flowing waves of red, black, and white. The artwork blends smooth curves and layered textures with splashes of color, creating a mesmerizing and dynamic effect that feels both modern and artistic.

  4. ...while using freeform tagging is more future-proof, but I'd also have to restructure in order to convert the existing true-false fields to that, and ALSO figure out a way of deriving the true-false values needed by the scripts.

    So I am PONDERING.

  7. And this is probably all too technical for those of you who aren't programmers, but...
Dealing with the limitations of how I read the meta-data, and whether things should be stored as true-false values, or as more freeform strings...
The true-false values are easier to script things from, but would require adding a new field for this (restructuring) and how many times would I have to do that in the future?

  10. ...BUT now I have an additional sub-type: (abstract) alcohol ink art. Because I've been having fun making pretty alcohol-ink decorated cardboard for making stuff out of (like boxes) but some of them are nice enough that I want to scan them in and play with them digitally (like I do with my Acrylic Pouring).

But if I want to record that information, I'm going to have to restructure my meta-data. And I'm not sure which direction I should go for that.

  13. Pondering the re-tagging of my art. See, as a computer programmer, I like to save myself time and effort by automating things. In this case, it's putting meta-data into my art images so that I can use scripts to do things like create custom images for mugs, or to post my art to Mastodon with most of the information pre-filled. Such as whether it is acrylic-poured fluid art, or whether it is digital art based on fractals, and so on. BUT...

  17. One of my favourite ways of playing with my #FluidArt is to create planetscapes. The flowing paint makes a great basis for gas giant planets.

  20. 95% of my finished work has fluid-art backgrounds. Or is just #FluidArt in itself.

One of my favourite earliest pieces is "Acid Rain", which Just Worked as it was. (Print: fluid-visions.com/shop/prints/)

  22. I realisated recently that my art process is rather unusual: I start with the background.
Either a piece of #FluidArt (#AcrylicPouring) which I painted and scanned in, or a computer-generated fractal-like image. (Two sources for the computer generated images: #fractals from evolvotron, or images I generated using #ContextFree, a graphics design language.)

Then I play around! Which is why I often feel like my art is just doodling. Some pieces have more intent than others.

  24. Once more into the breach; the prints for the letter 'O' are now up on Fluid-Visions. Here is one of my favourite O-pieces, 'Orbs 2'; yes, part of a series. I had fun playing with these.

*Orbs 2* - Mysterious spheres, fading in and out of view. Made in 2020. Fluid art. Digital art edited in GnuIMP.

  25. Today’s Alcohol Ink Art

Still in the early stages of my alcohol ink art journey, trying to create some flows. Here is this afternoon’s result. I have much more to learn, but it’s good fun and clears my mind. 🤓
