    Tonight my kid suggested a fun #MomBinary activity would be to compare our fantasy #Fluevog #BlackFriday sale picks, and to do it by creating a #Coda so we could each compile our top 5 picks without seeing the other person's choices. We picked 5 #shoe categories and then went virtual shopping.

    Here's the result! It was a delightful but expensive way to spend an hour together, because it's probably going to lead to me buying a pair of $400 boots I didn't know I needed.

    Fair warning, don't ever buy a pair of shoes like these. Sure, they look fantastic. They were 75% off. We were in New Orleans. My size, normally difficult to find, WAS THE ONLY SIZE LEFT.

    It's a trap. Once you own a pair of shoes like these, you find yourself thinking, "Can I wear those to that CISO roundtable? I mean, I already picked out a rose-colored dress shirt so they match, right? Obviously."

    Before too long, it's no longer you wearing the shoes. It's the shoes wearing you.

    But, yeah, I'm totally wearing them to the roundtable.
