If you guys get a chance to watch this, don't miss it. #AcademyAward winning film about a cat and a group of animals trying to survive a post apocalyptic world. It's the absolute opposite of the #Disney #Pixar nonsense that is fed to kids but it's perfect for adults as well. My kids were thrown from one emotion to another, crying and laughing. Truly incredible. You won't regret it.

Watched Flow last night. Warmly amused / pleased that a Capybara was amongst the cast. Worth a watch for an evening when you want to suspend reality.

To achieve the intricate cat hair animation in "Flow," the animation team utilized a cutting-edge software called Bleber3D, which allowed them to create realistic fur dynamics that made the feline characters come to life on screen.

I guess I'll dump a second flow rant here as well, continuing from my last thread.
So the cat was "stuck" in its old comfortable life, where everything was revolving around itself, which is why there were cat figures everywhere. Of course on the surface level, I guess an artist used to live in the house, creating all those statues of their cat.
But if we understand the house as the cat's world (see the end of my last post), those figures everywhere symbolize how everything in the cat's life revolved around itself, and It didn't think it needed anything outside of that.
Now the figures are of course all "petrified" and dead, being statues. There is no life there, which is appropriate for a world inhabited only by the cat.
But that "deadness" and "stuckness" was not sustainable, and the cat had to choose between staying in its dead world and die with it, or "go with the flow" and abandon it.

I'm a bit obsessed with Flow. The movie is an absolutely beautiful experience.
Being autistic, I spend WAY too much energy trying to find "explanations," while fully realizing that it risks reducing the movie.
Still, the peaks in the distance clearly play an enormously important role.
They serve as the "destination" of the adventure, but we never know exactly why.
It's enough for the story to just have a "destination" in quotes, which isn't really explained. But there are some superficial things I noticed:
First of all, the first time we see the peaks, is when the cat is lifted into the air, by one of the secretary birds. The cat's reaction to seeing the peaks seems to be surprise and joy, and I think the superficial explanation is shown with a couple of screenshots:

El hecho de que la película transcurra sin una palabra, puede echar para atrás a más de una persona, especialmente niños, acostumbrada a que todo esté explicado y dirigido y donde el bombardeo de acción sea constante.
A nivel técnico y visual, nada que objetar. Flow ha sabido ser ella misma con una estética particular, sin querer imitar otras películas del género. Hay momentos en los que parace que transcurre a través de un RPG y eso me ha encantado.

Favorite film I saw recently is #FlowMovie . Animated, no human dialogue, just animal and nature sounds. Loved it.
Other films I've recently loved are #Anora #AnoraFilm and #EmiliaPerez . And #Magpie #MagpieMovie , available on streaming platforms.
