  1. Longer and blurrier, the stream is really pretty.

This is a branch of a local walk, that goes through some beech woods and crosses a little stream (Called a Ford, a wide shallow sand filled part where carts and livestock would cross)

There are lines of collapsed rock walls marking the old lane either side.

  3. #SilentSunday under the bridge.

This stream is just off our regular walk.

We stop at the tiny side stream, so my dog can drink and wallow like a hippo on hot evenings.

  5. #SilentSunday riverbank from.. a month ago.

It's probably burst it's banks now with all the heavy rain we've been having.

  7. The unfrozen flow
This impressive waterfall is 37m tall! It was on my list to shoot in frozen condition, unfortunately we were a bit late at the party. Ice cubes around the fall were visible but not what I wished for… maybe next time! In the meantime it has been a really good scouting exercice!

  8. I’m sure proper amateur and professional photographers have a proper formula or at least a rule of thumb to follow to get good results with #FlowingWater but I used a suck-it-and-see approach and shot the same scene at various speeds to see which gave the best effect.

    Automatic mode speed: 1/200 s
