I'm interested in making an LED staff. One can buy these things, but they're expensive:

I'm thinking maybe I can attach something like this to the ends of an aluminum pipe (like I use to make fire staves):

Tonight was the first burn of the school year for our fire dancing club. I did a Samoan fireknife duet, juggled some torches, and worked on passing torches.

There were helicopters flying low overhead, presumably ICE getting some footage for Fox of Portland "burning to the ground".
