De Avila lost consciousness twice and faces possible Mossad interrogation on "terrorist" suspicion. Both are on hunger strike and are due in court on May 3.

Israeli authorities have released most of the activists who were detained as part of the “Steadfastness Flotilla,” transferring them directly to Greece, while continuing to hold Saif Abu Keshek and Thiago Ávila.

The authorities claimed that Saif Abu Keshek is suspected of belonging to an organization they describe as terrorist, while Thiago Ávila is suspected of participating in illegal activity. Both are expected to be transferred to Israel for questioning.

Des dizaines de bateaux pour Gaza

Une flotte s’élancera dès la fin du mois

Après les échecs de la flottille de la liberté et de la marche pour Gaza, une nouvelle coalition internationale a annoncé le 4 août dernier à Tunis qu’une centaine de voiliers prendra la mer à la fin du mois d’août. Deux objectifs principaux sont mis en avant : briser le blocus d’une part, attirer l’attention sur la complicité internationale dans le génocide d’autre part.
