    An advisory was just sounded and put on the broadcast. I’ve not listened to it yet but it does include the Wakefield AOR inside the mesoscale discussion area.

    Flooding caused by excessive rainfall possible.

    WHERE: The North SF Bay. #California

    IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

    ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Significant rainfall is expected Friday and Saturday as an intense low pressure system comes into the state. Expected rainfall totals are 2-3 inches in the valleys, locally up to 5 inches in the higher elevations. The larger rivers will crest on Sunday, after the heavy rain.
