WHERE: The North SF Bay. #California
IMPACTS: Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Significant rainfall is expected Friday and Saturday as an intense low pressure system comes into the state. Expected rainfall totals are 2-3 inches in the valleys, locally up to 5 inches in the higher elevations. The larger rivers will crest on Sunday, after the heavy rain.

At 100 PM PST, Doppler radar and rain gauges indicated persistent moderate rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area through 500 PM
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley, Ventura, Camarillo,
Fillmore, Ojai, Chatsworth, Moorpark, Santa Paula, Port
Hueneme, Newbury Park, Rose Valley, Point Mugu State Park,
Ventura Harbor, Point Mugu, La Conchita, Oak Park, Somis and
El Rio. -
