I would not have thought my dislike of ticketbastard would have been able to grow anymore, but it has. :(
Trying to sell some tickets there it takes a vast 'seller fee' and it actually doesn't work, spews an error when I try and move forward in the flow.
Sad that #flocktofedora is right at the time of this rush concert. ;( (But I am going to see them later in the tour at least).

I just finally got home after traveling for two weeks for #FlockToFedora and #DevConf_CZ - met a lot of people and friends, both for the first time or again after a while. Had a lot of discussions, a lot of great food, and did a lot of walking around to explore Prague and Brno. And now I feel like I need to defrag my poor introvert brain 🧠

That's the last of our sponsor posts. Thank you so much to our sponsors! Their financial help enables our contributors to meet in person and have important conversations, as well as connect as friends. We're very grateful and want to make sure we give them shoutouts!
See you next year!

One way that Arm supports Linux is through their Arm GNU Toolchain. This way developers have an easier time working with new features in the latest architectures!

Fedora has CoreOS; @opensuse has MicroOS.
Fedora has Atomic Desktops; openSUSE has Aeon and Kalpa.
Check out openSUSE's atomic offerings based on Btrfs snapshots!

Thank you to Arm for being a silver sponsor for Flock to Fedora. :)
Arm has been working in the open source world to improve support for their architecture. Fedora is happy to welcome contributions for alternative architectures!

Many thanks to openSUSE for being a silver sponsor for Flock to Fedora!
Ubuntu, Arch, and others get a lot of love, but if you're looking for a different distro to try next, consider openSUSE! They have many different versions to suit different needs, like Tumbleweed for rolling release fans and Leap for those who want stable releases.
Also their mascot is a chameleon name Geeko, c'mon dude

Thank you to @centos for being a gold sponsor for Flock!
So many CentOS contributors overlap with Fedora that you never know who is working on both projects. We're grateful that they take the time to start a change in Fedora Linux to receive it upstream later, rather than making changes directly in CentOS Stream for everything. :)

With Flock 2025 coming to a close, we have a few more sponsors to thank for making all of this possible. ❤️

Flock to Fedora 2025 happened, and I very much enjoyed it.

Do you like Valkey? Thank an AlmaLinux contributor for bringing that package to Fedora. :)
AlmaLinux contributors are Fedora contributors - their fingerprints are everywhere and you feel the benefits of their work with every Fedora release.

All open source projects can use more contributions, so here are some places where you can start for @rockylinux !
This page has a list of active Special Interest Groups, like the Cloud or Security SIGs. There's also a list of areas where you can lead the change in making a SIG for it, like for embedded systems or storage applications!

When I could not come to #FlockToFedora, my teammates (@karo and others) visited me in the hospital instead to lift my spirit. Thanks!

What distros can you run on Microsoft Azure? RHEL, Ubuntu, SUSE, and even their own distro, Azure Linux (which by the way uses bits of Fedora).
Microsoft working more closely with the Fedora Project will improve their service for your organization's Linux needs.

We can say all kinds of great things about Lenovo's work in Fedora - how they collaborate with the community in our spaces, how they work with developers for testing or finding bugs, and more.
But the most important thing is for you to buy their laptops. If you're thinking about buying a new ThinkPad, look for the Linux config on their website and buy it there. It sends the signal that people are interested in preloaded Linux hardware.
