I've been struggling while flying any of the #PMDG #aircraft, with the fact that #FirstOfficer doesn't automatically reset the IRS. Its really a problem, because its not doing that, the IRS isn't properly set, which means that entering in the route data/everything else just makes the route data not show up in the FMC. I know this is the case as I manually lerned how to reset the IRS and was able to get the FMC to show both the departures and arrivals data and was even able to select sids and stars, but didn't go much further than that because it was late and I was tired. Note that I otherwise let TFM (Talking Flight Monitor), load in everything else via the Simbrief uplink save the Sids and Stars, but this proves that I definitely fucked up my First Officer Checklist data for both the 737 and 777 aircrats which I own. I ask, does anyone have a checklist file which properly removes FSO messing around with the FMC, but also allows FSO to reset the IRS? Thanks, I really need the help. Just being a virtual pest to the virtual ATC by flying from Centennial to Denver International for a touch-and-go and back. On the return trip, I was given the left downwind for runway 35R. A left downwind for a right parallel runway? No thanks. I choose life. I flew the right downwind. The fake ATC didn't seem to mind.

So flying the F-14 did increase my skill to fly the F-18 a lot. I am much more stable if doing aerial refueling and carrier landing got a lot easier.

Also my survivability with the F-18 got much better.

I have been getting back into civil flight simulation again. It doesn't look as stunning as Microsoft Flight Simulator, but with Orthophotos it's still pretty good. And it runs natively on Linux!

This Friday was #vatsim class number 21. I did well, however I always forget where I am when we switch up. I need to be looking at my notes. I also really need to work on not overthinking the situation the pilot is in. The solution and tools are in front of me. Now why can't I think about using them. I forget they are there. I know the information; I know what to do. Now, how to get rid of this blocker. Advice would be welcome here.
