Sehr gut, da hab ich was für Sie/euch: #Gebrauchsanleitungen für #Reisen mit der #Bahn.

Jedem halbwegs gesunden Menschen ohne schwierige familiäre Verpflichtungen ist es zumutbar, innerhalb Europas mit #ÖPNV zu reisen. Bei weiser Zugauswahl kann man gut arbeiten, jedenfalls besser als im Flugzeug, und die Stopovers unterwegs bereichern die Allgemeinbildung. Hier mal für #Portugal.

I would never have done such a long rail trip, 6h46, before Greta Thunberg and #FlightShame. As much as I enjoy trains, this is eating into my vacation time. For example today we didn't end up having time to visit the Miró museum.

It would've been nice to have the option to take a 2h shorter train, that way we could've still woken up late as we did, visited the museum and still have time for a nice dinner in Paris.

as long as you are not one of those people flying 3 times a day to see a concert or a football game, I dont feel like I have to put #FlightShame on you.

My guess is every person could have 2 flights per year (no right to sell those co2) and the world would be much better than it is now.

All I can think of what impact it has on everyone through #flight #co2 #emissions and how most of the article is about economics on the area.
IIRC one flight from #finland causes more emissions compared to one year of heating of a house. #FlightShame is not nearly widespread as it should.
