Fletch and his Royal HH Standard Typewriters
I noticed that just like Dustin Hoffman as Carl Bernstein in All the President's Men, Chevy Chase portraying the titular Fletch (Universal Pictures, 1985) has a Royal HH typewriter not only at his Santa Monica apartment, but he also has a matching one at his office at the Los Angeles Globe. Tihe album 'Spirit' may not be a lot of Depeche Mode fans favourite, but I think it hits the right parts. And considering this is the last album before Andy Fletcher's death, I think it's a decent album to got out on. You may have saw yourself as "The one who bummed around in the background' Andy, but you'll always be the one who'll bum around in background, of our hearts.

This is the 1st of 4 #ChevyChase movie polls.

I’ve always found the #Fletch books really ripe fodder for films, and yet only one was made before this. That one made Fletch glib and one-noted. “Son of Fletch” reveals his to be a complicated and thoughtful guy; think Jim Rockford with more bravado.
THIS is a decent adaptation of the character, and I hope we see more of them! Jon Hamm is perfect, as are all of the actors! Roy Wood, Jr is especially delightful as the Inspector.
