  12. "The #cannabis plant contains hundreds of chemical compounds. Among them #Cannabinoids , #flavonoids and #terpenes are the most relevant. Delta-nine #THC and #CBD are the most abundant cannabinoids and therefore the most studied.

    However there are other minor cannabinoids such as delta-eight THC, #thca THCV, CBG, #cbn CBC which have been investigated to have therapeutic value (Izzo et al. 2009).

    Although the compounds may have therapeutic effects taken alone (as in HEMP-derived isolate), their combined action when present together in whole plants (actually complete flower) extracts, is GREATER ( up to 6x more potent according to recent studies) than the sum of their individual effects. This enhanced and synergistic response is known as the #entourage effect.

    The combined action of cannabinoids and other molecules in the plant may present clinical advantages such as lower adverse effects and greater efficacy on the therapeutical management of several conditions, such as #anxiety , #depression , #pain , #inflammation , #cancer and bacterial / fungi #infectiousdiseases
