"National security risks", my entire gaddamned ass.

Fuck these fucking fascist SOBs with a rusty chainsaw. Polite functional societies stake fuckwits like this out behind the woodshed.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk. #FlameOff
  2. @malwareminigun @cR0w #FlameOn I favour Debian stable in that role, and admit to still carrying a bias for Debian, even after working in (possibility because of) RedHat shops (and other bad ideas). With CentOS gone and Ubuntu straying further and further into the wilderness I can hope that people will rebase (back) onto Debian when a more specialised base of Alpine or Kali isn't useful. 🤷‍♀️

  6. I wish someone with deep pockets would go ahead and pay the Open Group $100k to get UNIX-certified. (And the other BSDs, too)

It's really stupid that only weirdly-contorted commercial Unixes have it.

And no. Not Linux. Sorry. I deeply love , but it's less Unix-like every day. Linux is slowly turning into what you'd get in an alternate universe if Microsoft bought a Unix license from AT&T and slowly developed their own OS on top of it.

    ;)
