He had always been friendly to her where she worked at the coffee drive through and though she was married and with some shame and embarrassment, she wrote her number on a scrap of paper, saying she would like to meet. Yet the rain on their hands as she passed him his coffee dislodged the note. She didn’t know it had fallen, and he didn’t know of its existence. All day, the rain beat upon the note, washing away the words and tearing apart the fibers of the paper. #Mastoprompt #drizzle #fizzle
