Bought the last pointy spade from the store.

I have about 5 old spades but they all seem to be made in the bendy spade factory.

Lets hope this one is a bit tougher. Its an exact copy of the Fiskars one but only costs 1/5th.

I held them next to each other to see if the Fiskars was maybe thicker steel or heavier or maybe made of titanium. Not the case. Probably just marketing reinforced for those who want to believe. 🤷

Damn, that marzipan #chocolate from the #Billnäs chocolate factory (bought from their store in #Fiskars) is gooo-ood!

A nice wee day trip to the #Fiskars village in #Finland. Yes, the place where the scissor company started. The company has left the village, but people moved in and revitalised the place with cafes, crafts, and art galleries. Another little gem.

You probably know #Fiskars for their signature orange-handled scissors. Here is the #FiskarsVillage where the original iron forging operations started in 1649. Fiskars is the oldest privately-owned company in #Finland, and also one of the oldest companies in the world.

@kepstin I agree. We recently purchased a nice #castIron frying pan, and if the one of my in-laws is any indication (which it hopefully is, as it's the exact same model, even though the brand name is different as the original company got taken over by #Fiskars several years ago), it should last at least a generation. :)
