This one took me ages, mostly because I chose the wrong sketch book, so colours didn't "take" easily.

I know a primary kid could do better than this, but I did say it's my first attempt.

Before and After

I've had a huge energy and motivation crash today. I've not even made it to the office or gone for a short walk.

And my neck wrecks.

But I've done the equivalent of 3 loads of dishes and baked my first chocolate brownie. It's still cooling, so I don't know how good/bad it is. It smells great, though.

I've been struggling with energy levels and a sensitive head all day, so haven't touched my computer.

But I have done my first attempt at sticky toffee pudding. It came out okay, but too thin as I didn't have the right tin size for the amounts in the recipe.

Welp, my daughter’s first solder project… she tried… we are gonna keep at it here. I think she’s having a hard time understanding that sometimes you need to take a break and maybe doing 60 leds at a time isn’t the best idea with cheap solder tips and lead free tin. She’ll find the rhythm, I’ll clean the board fresh after she finishes this and let her practice at it again. #solder #firsttry #soldering

Dinner. It's a lot of work with some ingredients which were somewhat difficult to get, but it was worth the troubles. Definitely worth the hours in the kitchen :-)

I made a thing: For the first time in my life, I made a cake, specifically a two layer, red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting on it for my wife's birthday. I am making a note here: Huge Success! It was moist and delicious. Lessons learned: I need to apply way more frosting between the layers than I did since the cakes both absorbed some of the frosting so it looked like a thin white line. #RedVelvet #BirthdayCake #FirstTry
