  6. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜'𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗠𝗮𝘆 - "𝗔𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗜𝘀 𝗮 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗯" -

LeMay's work for the indigenous in Canada is well known, but this year's book helps Canadians (& US folks!) understand what reconciliation means & what allyship looks like. It begins simply: learn and engage.

  11. As a civil servant in #Argentina, I'm obliged by law to take a course on eco-development, what we call sustainable development in the countries of the North.
Let's just say that Argentina is not globally advanced in this area, as all countries are.
In France, I had the equivalent of an MBA on the subject. It's just that it's not called an MBA ("éco-conseiller", specialised master's degree) because, you know, you won't become rich and famous after this degree...
Fundamentally, Argentina and what Latin America has generated in terms of educative content since 1972 in this field is amazing.
I think that without self-training, I'd be the equivalent of Cro Magnon because the concept has evolved so much here.

  12. Today's #BooksAndCoffee is brought to you by a little day trip to Shrewsbury. I'm drinking an oat latte at #IronAndFireCoffee and reading Moon of the Crusted Snow, a slow-paced First Nations apocalyptic tale by #WaubgeshigRice.

What are you drinking and reading?
