Im heutigen #BackgroundTagesspiegel bringen es die Ökonomen Hennicke und Jochem auf den Punkt: #Energieeffizienz wird von der aktuellen #Bundesregierung und auch dem #Monitoringbericht krass ignoriert und unterschätzt! Sie verspielt damit die Chancen der #Effizienzwende für #Wirtschaft + #Gesellschaft + #Energiesystem. Dem ist nicht viel mehr hinzuzufügen.
Ein bisschen schade ist, dass es aktuell jenseits einzelner Granden und elderly statesmen wie Jochem, Hennicke; aber auch wenigen Expert:innen wie #MartinPehnt, #WolfgangEichhammer, #BarbaraSchlomann und wenigen mehr kaum fundierte Mitstreiter:innen für das #firstFuel #Energieeffizienz gibt. #lessismore #Energieverbrauchrunter #Eff1st

Dass derlei Selbstverständlichkeiten für die #GasKathi @BMWK immer wieder betont werden müssen....Hier gut auf den Punkt, welche Vorteile die #Energieeffizienz als 1. Säule der Energiewende hat. Wie immer kundig von der @DENEFF @nollenergie aufbereitet!

@wpschill Unfortunately, the #Ampelmonitor only has little focus on the demandside. Despite #energyefficiency being the #firstfuel and central pillar of the #energytransition, which makes the switch to 💯 #renewables that much faster! Also, despite the 🚦 having set binding #efficiency #energysaving targets with the #energy #efficiency #act for the very first time. It would be good to adress the #energyconsumption in the monitor more in-depth. First good evaluation of the short and medium term development of the #energyefficiency and #FinalEnergy consumption (FEC) until 2023 (the latest official data) can be found at the German Federal Environment Agency #UBA @Umweltbundesamt:
