Fixed an issue this morning accessing Firetribe due to the server being out of space. I forgot to clear the remote media storage this month. Apologies if you've had trouble accessing the server today. We're back up and running now though!

I'm planning to hand out physical invitation tokens for #firetribe at the next #WildfireRetreat event.

Which of these would you be more likely to remember/use?

- A printed business card with basic instructions and explanation of the fediverse with a hand written code
- A wooden business card with the instance logo and tagline, a QR code link to the site and a removable invitation code.
- Dog tag etched with the logo and tagline with the invitation code etched in the back.

New users on #firetribe might be wondering where everyone in the world is, or thinking the 'global' feed seems oddly skewed to a few topics.

Our Global feed only shows accounts that someone here is following. But there's far more people on the fediverse to follow than we can see right now! For some suggestions check out the fediverse.info directory or notable fediverse accounts or invite a friend!

You can also search for hashtags like 'introduction' or 'NewHere' for fresh posts from servers nearby. Try posting your own introduction and see what follows you get!
