According to a member of the uBlock Origin team, and a Mozilla employee (different people):
gorhill has voluntarily taken down uBlock Origin Lite from the Mozilla Addons store and did not request Mozilla re-review the extension.
gorhill has announced the extension will only be available to be downloaded from GitHub.
This comes after Mozilla erroneously flagged an update to uBlock Origin Lite as violating their data collection polices. Mozilla did not remove the extension, and just blocked new updates.
A Mozilla employee raised the issue internally, but it seems gorhill is unwilling to appeal, originally statingI don't have the time or motivation to spend time on this nonsense, so I will let AMO do whatever they want with uBOL.
This is a developing story, and new or corrected information may come out.

Just installed uBlock origin on Firefox.
And saw a "media extractor" app on the #FirefoxAddons list
Hmm I thought. And then checked how many megabytes it was.
Expecting it to be 3 or so.
But it was something like 97kb.
About a thirtieth of the 3 megabytes I was expecting.Wow.

Speaking of which 😜, good opportunity to again recommend https://josh-berry.github.io/tab-stash/ It just uses regular bookmarks, but adds a lot of easy to use ways to interact with them. Unfortunately, only for Firefox.

Gerade erst festgestellt: Firefox Add-ons in #iOS bzw. #iPadOs sind von #apple nicht zugelassen und möglich. Ich arbeite echt gerne auf meinem iPad von unterwegs und schätze diesen „kleinen“ aber leistungsstarken Computer, aber dass sich Apple immer wieder so doof anstellen muss mit seiner #proprietärenSoftware ist echt nervig und eine Entmündigung des (zahlenden) User.

Finally disabled the YouTube app on my S21 and replaced it with a Firefox shortcut to YouTube. Added some add-ons to Firefox. No ads on YouTube, which is great. De-Chroming my life one piece at a time. Firefox has a Bitwarden add-on, too, which is cool and should help with passwords.

A quienes usan #Letterboxd para buscar y hacer reseñas de películas les vengo a recomendar la extensión «Letterboxd-Extras», disponible en #Chrome y #Firefox. Este add-on añade información adicional a las películas. Lo más interesante es que muestra las calificaciones de otras plataformas.
Si usan el beta de Firefox o Mull en el móvil, también lo pueden agregar y funciona ☝🏻

Les traigo otra muy útil extensión para #Firefox, especialmente para quienes nos preocupamos de la #privacidad en línea. Se trata de #LibRedirect, que redirecciona las URL de algunos sitio a servicios alternativos, amigables con la privacidad, como invidious (youtube), nitter (twitter), bibliogram (instagram), etc.
