Watching #FireballXL5 for the first time since originally broadcast I've noticed a couple of curious things:
(1) There's an astonishing amount of crossover in terms of music, sound effects, vehicle concepts and even the end titles between it and Gerry's masterpiece U.F.O. (to come eight years later).
(2) Why the hell has Professor Matic got a West Indies accent? (Had David Graham just come back from an exotic holiday?)
