If you own a framework, check the battery today! Also limit max charge percentage to 70% or 80%, and then drain the battery if it’s above the configured threshold.

Just found where a small #Fire (?) had broken out in an box of stored household goods.

Concave #ShavingMirror appears to have focused the winter sun's rays enough to have an edge & folded corner of a cardboard box ignite &/or combust enough for the side flap of the box to fall off. #FireHazard

Smelt the smoke 2 days ago, looked around, thought, "Ah neighbours"

Last #SurpriseFire - closed bag of leaves in neighbour's back yard igniting in the sunshine/composting & the fire spreading a bit.

The GCFI outlet in my little bathroom got burnt. Fortunately I saw the smoke and managed to turn it off before things got out of hand. So I guess GCFIs don't protect from burning plugs? 🤷‍♀️!

Whatever.

Culprit was an el cheapo hairdryer. 🙄 Gonna write #FireHazard on it before I dispose of it lest someone tries to use it. I do label my #trash sometimes. I've left a few items in the refuse room labeled "Not trash. Yours, if you want it."
