#Trump has announced via Truth Social that the United States will impose 10% #tariffs on all goods from #Denmark, #Norway, #Sweden, #France #Germany, the #UnitedKingdom, the #Netherlands and #Finland starting February 1, 2026.
The rate will rise to 25% on June 1, 2026, and remain in effect until Denmark agrees to the "Complete and Total purchase" of Greenland by the U.S."

It's #Finland calling!
Haven't been updating the terrible actions of our horrendous conservative - #FarRight government, but it has been horrible all the time.
Lately, the far right #TheFinns party has again been mumbling about the #GreatReplacement conspiracy theory.
And the so-called centre-right and right-wing liberal parties just stick with it, because all the #austerity for the poor and tax cuts for the rich, they can do.

Now, 2nd time as a #government party, they got partially what they've been wanting - the financing of #Yleisradio will be cut for 200 M € during the near future.
They've also tried to affect to #journalism itself.

Two MP's from #TheFinnsParty have announced that they'll not participate the #IndependenceDay ball held by president #AlexanderStubb, but are instead participating 612-march.
The march is organized by a #FarRight association, and also #NeoNazis are regularly marching - #swatsika flags with them.
Prime minister #PetteriOrpo stays silent.

Well, yesterday there was a minor copycatter, who stabbed a man in the very same #Valkea shopping center with a #racist motive.

For a long time we've brought you only terrible news about #politics in #Finland, because of the current #conservative #FarRight government.
But now there's some very good news!
The far right #TheFinns party had a massive loss in the #EUelections, while the #LeftAlliance gained a massive and surprising victory being the 2nd largest party of the #EU2024 elections.
Yes, the conservative #NCP - the prime minister party - sadly is the winner.
