I had so many lucky things happen to me today! This is quite unusual. They were small things but important to me. I felt like I was living a charmed life. My husband told me I should also buy a lottery ticket. So I did! Fingers crossed!

Super excited that the first half of my plan for this #sculpture is coming to fruition. #Pilchuck accepted it to be auctioned. I bent a second, backup copy of the neon before cavity packing both of them in filleted upholstery foam and building a box in a box -yeah, I used to be an #art handler :)
I particularly enjoyed the moment of writing #NYC and #Seattle arrows pointing to each pattern before slicing them in half with the sharp edge of a broken tube. The Sun pattern will go with the sun- the two will (probably) never be re-united again :) - except by internet blinky signals between the two
Sun half will be #auctioned to support a non profit #glass school with a lyric from a song that came out the same year as the school's founding- over 50 years ago. Cultural recycling.
Coming in at over $850, UPS was too expensive. NTG freight will *hopefully save me a pile of monies. The #mirror box is another big box inside of box.
Hopefully it makes it the journey.

Back in the saddle. The weather is perfect for mothing, so I shaved off as much superfluous gear as I could, loaded the essentials on the scooter and off we go. It's almost like being young(ish) again😆

Zal het dit jaar echt lukken om af te spreken met mijn maatje vanaf de kleuterklas? Hebben het er al jaren over, kwam er nooit van.
Elkaar na basisschool uit het oog verloren,jaartje of 15 terug elkaar gevonden op FB.
Sindsdien heel regelmatig contact en laatste jaren via SMS.
Zo ook afgelopen weekend.
'Deze zomer komen jullie eindelijk maar eens naar 020 en gaan we lekker met de boot er mooi dagje van maken '.

De 🍓 coulis is gelukt,.
Twee kleine ronde bodems van gevulde koekkruim en boter om en om in de vriezer ( heb maar 1 kookring) de met aardbeienjam opgeklopte roomkaas in siliconen muffinvorm ernaast.
Half uurtje van tevoren eruit.
