I remember seeing lamprey on lake trout we used to catch in the Finger Lakes when I was a kid - the stuff of nightmares!!
It's great to hear that they've been successful in significantly reducing their populations!!

I went for a quick walk this afternoon in the woods behind our house. What's great about the #FingerLakes is that everywhere you go there's evidence of its #glacial past - I'm actually walking on the remains of a #moraine that was deposited about 10,000 years ago as the #Laurentide ice sheet retreated from the area. #Geology #photography
