South Korea’s president has ordered a broad investigation after multiple financial firms reported personal data exposure.
Shinhan Bank reported around 25,000 affected customers, Yegaram Savings Bank around 40,000, and Hyundai Capital said data belonging to 146 mortgage partners was exposed.
Reported information includes names, phone numbers, annual income and loan limits.
