I just published chapter 39 of The Great and Powerful Fuu.

In addition, I finally wrote out an explanation for the chapter titles I have used in my story, which can be found in the appendix on Fimfiction.

I have no idea how to change the chapter order on Ao3, so I will release the same appendix there only after the story has completed.

Great news! I have made a final decision to move on from my main account fully, from now on everything & anything pony-related is going to be fully exclusive to this account.

Previously that only meant art, but now it means writing and project updates (and everything else).

So I want to start the year off strong by saying im finally working on my big meaty fimfic Euclipse, its still going to take a while to come out, but the first 2 chapters are ready and the cover is done. I will be posting a bunch of smaller stories tho both before, after and during my writing of euclipse, but yeah, all new updates are going to be posted here exclusively.

You know what? I wish #AppleBooks had a feature to add indentations to paragraphs similar to what you’d find in most physical books.

I think most ebooks come pre-formatted with them, but I’m frequently reading #FiMFiction ebooks on this app that I downloaded as ePUBs, and now that I noticed how the paragraphs don’t indent, I can’t unsee it.

What’s worse is that by default, FiMFiction doesn’t indent either; the reader is the one who has to do it with their own settings on-site, while the author more or less has to suck it up and just type as though indents don’t exist; if you use an external word processor, like Google Docs for example, importing the document won’t preserve your indentation. Downloading a story as an ePUB gives you the default indentation, which is none.

So I guess to an extent, this is a gripe with FiMFiction, but it’d be REALLY nice to have the tools to adjust indentation on Apple Books as well; if the story isn’t going to indent properly – regardless of whether or not the author knows that formatting rule or not – at least let me do it myself, like FiMFiction does when reading on site!

Are you ready to post your #Crackfic on #FiMFiction, and any other festivities?

For those who haven't played it, #AIDungeon is a text-based game thing which uses an #AI trained on stories to generate responses to your actions, or co-write a story with you. Because it is trained from pretty much the entire internet's worth of text, It already knows a bit about My Little Pony, and I'm 90% sure it's read My Little Pony #fanfiction, based on elements I've thrown it that it's been able to quickly handle and things it's mentioned that I've only seen on #Fimfiction. However, it works better if it's been given extra context, both to align the neural network towards material from My Little Pony, and to give it extra details it doesn't repeat from the training data.

AI Dungeon has a feature that lets you dynamically add blocks of text to the beginning of the input when certain words come up. The My Little Pony Sandbox scenario was something I built two years ago which has a bunch of characters and concepts in a database, so that anyone can start a game very quickly and easily where the AI is primed to think about MLP.
