It's been three years since I published the previous filet crochet pattern, using the same yarn (50% cotton and 50% acrylic), but in a different mix of colors, also bought as a custom gradient from Sparwolle in Berlin.
Later on we collaborated on a set of gradients that you can get as a kit, but you can use the same kit to make the new Filet hearts shawl as well.
This design is called Darova and is also inspired by Romanian embroidery.
