It was a fantastic match, and I felt great watching it on my birthday. Other than a bit of time wasting in the last few minutes of injury time, every moment was a tonne of fun.

Hopefully, #CAN can get itself sorted over the next few years. We need to be back & challenging for the top.

Damn close match so far, with England really turning up the heat after going down a goal. The near-miss for Spain right at the end of the half was another fabulous shot.

@bazkie I think its only "slightly favourited." The blah blah between matches have repeated the line ad nauseum.

Personally, I think they were trying to manufacture a "favourite," but who am I to judge really?

All I know is the previous 28-minutes of play have been awesome.

My rule, when I haven't a stake in the match, is to always cheer the perceived underdog.

With #ENG the favourite to win, that puts me solidly in the #ESP camp this morning.

That said, so long as it's an entertaining match (as the first 16+ minutes have been), I'll be quite happy to watch.

Managed to tune in to #ENGCOL match at #fifawwc23 around the 30' mark.

I'm definitely loving it. I want Colombia to pull back ahead for the W, but that late goal might just deflate them a bit. We'll have to wait and see.

With my team long eliminated, I always cheer the underdog. That's never going to change.
