Realizing several months in that I've "If you give a mouse a cookie"-'d myself

Replaced the tires on my #Fiero, and heard a squeak in the front right

So I figured I'd lift the car and do the suspension grease points. Doing one means I may as well do them all,

but if I'm lifting the car, who knows when the front wheel bearings were last done,

and if I'm pulling the rotors I may as well do the brakes.

Worth checking all 4 then, and as long as I'm doing that, my park-brake cable is waaay out of adjustment too

At this point I should also flush the brake fluid, but I'd like to drive it at some point this summer, so (I guess) that can wait till winter

I have had a dream that Ford was manufacturing a small truck version of the Fiero which was very prone to catching on fire, even more so than the car. But despite the frequent fires, it was seen as a more practical and affordable alternative to the Cybertruck. The fires were spontaneous, no need for rear-end collisions like the Pinto. Fact-checking my dream, I now realize that the Fiero was actually perpetrated by General Motors under the Pontiac brand.

The problems Cybertruck apparently has at the car wash remind me of those “No Fiero” signs you’d see at car washes well into the 1990s.

My eBay search for #ClutchPoppers has been running since 2016 or so I think and the last time I saw a car I didn't already have was three years ago. That was the #Fiero and I have both colors now. Before that I saw a one-shot military looking truck but apparently there was only one ever made and someone else won the auction. I've repaired all the cars I can repair and I weep over the ones I can't. At least 80% of them are still functional!

I really need to get a life don't I!
