I have had a dream that Ford was manufacturing a small truck version of the Fiero which was very prone to catching on fire, even more so than the car. But despite the frequent fires, it was seen as a more practical and affordable alternative to the Cybertruck. The fires were spontaneous, no need for rear-end collisions like the Pinto. Fact-checking my dream, I now realize that the Fiero was actually perpetrated by General Motors under the Pontiac brand.

My eBay search for #ClutchPoppers has been running since 2016 or so I think and the last time I saw a car I didn't already have was three years ago. That was the #Fiero and I have both colors now. Before that I saw a one-shot military looking truck but apparently there was only one ever made and someone else won the auction. I've repaired all the cars I can repair and I weep over the ones I can't. At least 80% of them are still functional!
I really need to get a life don't I!

It's my Friday night/Saturday morning (hooray for shiftwork!), I have coffee, bacon, and a crab omlette, tomorrow is payday, and after several long months of searching, I may have found a transmission for my vintage car.
Been awhile since I had a day this absolutely fucking fan-*tastic*, largely because I am *ecstatic* about getting my 1987 Pontiac Fiero back.
