'Fireworks in Florence, New Year's Eve, 2017'
Kind of what you'd expect: me covering Katy Perry's Fireworks live on stage in Florence, Italy, 9 years ago! No wait. Um. A recording of fireworks in that city, on that date. Mist. Wollte mir eigentlich für #fieldrecording ein schönes #soma #ether zulegen um neue Quellen für noise und drone zu erschließen, aber leider hat auch das zweite Gerät ein ständig rhythmisch knackendes Störgeräusch auf den Ausgängen. Das wird dann wohl nix mit dem Ether und mir.
Aber zumindest hat #thomann eine schöne Problembeschreibung von mir bekommen.

Das waren dreieinhalb sehr schöne und intensive Tage im Speicher #Gramzow.
Die Besucher*innen waren alle sehr angenehm und offen und unsere Installation hat sich mit der Zeit verselbstständigt.
Ein Kind hat sogar angefangen Witze in unsere Mikrofone zu sprechen, die dann den Speicher angeregt haben 😅Dank an https://www.radioindustry.de/ dass ich hier Teil sein konnte.
Jetzt bin ich etwas wehmütig und warte noch eine Weile in Prenzlau auf den Zug

First day of the residency is over.
Great place, great people and interesting sounds inside and outside of this old grain storage from 1954.
It was a first model of the GDR for this type of buildings.
Totally happy but also exhausted. Looking forward to the next days. -
