It is native to eastern Australia, from the Wide Bay–Burnett region of Queensland in the north to the Illawarra region of New South Wales.     and it has seen this suburb change from swamp to paddocks to densely populated urban area 🙇‍♂️ the #lorikeets down here get drunk every year when they eat the overripe fruits :blobcat_smilehappyeyes: then they stagger across the road or footpath like little rambling pirates :birb_love: :birt_dance: everyone drives carefully when there's smell of ripe figs in the air 😆
