phase 2: i couldn't sleep, and when i check the wagenreihung at 4:00, 724 was set swapped for a 412(!), so i umplane and abandon the coke train (i'm not a coke fan tbh) and choose the :tri: RE8 instead...
phase 3: at #MH, on the 882 awaiting departure... i was informed of a PU and i won't reach #NWH in time - i got off in time to umplane again
phase 4: realizing the closeted enby ICE is running the 1578 and i can use this to reach #FG, so i get the 690 to #TS and change to the 1578
phase 5: 690 is delayed and 1578 doesn't wait, but i was eager to make a gamble at #TS, and here i am, the 2-min connection was made and i'm on my way with the closeted enby ICE

Dr #EoinDrea is a senior researcher at the #WilfriedMartensCentre, the official think tank of the #EuropeanPeopleParty (#EPP) of which #FineGael #FG is a member.
FG will probably try to disown Eoin Drea. They will says this is just a personal opinion by an academic researcher etc, that it's obviously not in any way FG's position.
That is of course #bollix. EPP staff don't go placing op-eds on highly sensitive #foreignpolicy issues without some liaison with the local EPP member party.

@raycunningham Thanks. Last one from me. The election agent at a count can challenge whether there is even a hint of a preference. I've seen it at counts where the agents go into a huddle and examine each paper. Not that I expect it, but could a #FG agent choose not to dispute any ballots?
Problem is that the "spoil your vote" crowd would claim it as a victory the more there are.

Have you ever heard of foreground and background jobs in a GNU/Linux or Unix context?
If not:
1. jump into your favorite shell
2. start e.g. vim with `vim foo.rs`
3. now press <CTRL> z
4. go to another directory and do an `ls` or so
5. and now run `fg`
(6. Works in an SSH session too)Wow. It's crazy that I used this for the first time today after all these years of using Linux. You just never stop learning.

@annso Oui je l'avais vu . Une excellente initiative 📚📚pour aborder la notion de #handicap dans toute sa complexité et pas seulement visible et développer les #cps chez les élèves. Réfléchir aussi aux discriminations #FG . Une femme handicapée est très vulnérable davantage qu'un homme handicapé. Les chiffres sont implacables. 😔

The #Tories will never offer the #DUP the opportunity to control power after what they did on #May. The #WindsorFramework vote seen to that. The #DUP have no serious support amongst the Tory party. The #DUP humiliated her & could be argued they started the problems they face by backing #Boris.
As for #FG it is hypocritical that they tell all the parties in the #North that they must work together. However use Sinn Féin as a bogeyman in the South.
