and, finally, the basement! i didn't have a ton of slots left and i wanted to feature some builds i found in makeplace that i really liked. so i went vignette-style with them.i'll swap them out when i feel like doing little housing projects. i wanted the door to be my front door, but it was too far from the exit for anyone to leave!
the house is open for anyone to visit! crystal/brynhildr, lavender beds, w13 p21. tag me if you take any gpose photos!

and a little bedroom just for me. can you tell i like raised platforms? changing the height of different areas really helps give them a different sense of space, i find.
though i'm trying to play with different colours, i couldn't help defaulting to my usual turquoise and dark blue range for my bedroom. gosh i wish i could dye that bed.

the reading room started with a corner chair design i found on makeplace and tweaked to suit my needs, and expanded from there. i wanted it to be bright but still cozy!

i wanted an outdoor area for my indoors... i was going to simulate a sunrise with dead man's chests, but the effect was too subtle and mostly just made it look like the plants were glowing. but as i was finishing up, i realized i had some old waterfall partitions lying around, and their uplighting is perfect for this. the ambient water noises are nice too.

finally finished designing, crafting, and building my house!
there's really no good way to display a three story house in four images, so we're threading, starting with the first floor kitchen and living room. fun fact: most of the kitchen is nophica green, but it all comes out different in game... freakin annoying.

Updoooot! We now have DECOR! So far so good on the ideas I want to implement. Had to finagle some stuff cause certain things didn't want to click into place. This is just half of the basement in my small on Crystal | Malboro. You can find me at plot 59, ward 21 of the Empyrean. Current theme in mind is a personal library / study of sorts. The upper area will likely be a commons / bar sort of deal.

i set up my new FC room! i wanted to make a bar and lounge with lots of different little areas to hang out in, for whatever flavour of chill and cozy suits your mood. really nice to just poke at an easy design for a couple of days and then sit down and craft everything. and i put together a calming, quiet playlist for it.
next i'm gonna redo my house... once i decide what to do with it.
