WELP. A very sad ending to this year's #FFVFJF #FF5FJF.

My emulator console corrupted my save and wiped *all* of my progress.

Save game gone entirely.

Safe to say I won't be starting over from scratch on this one. RIP to this year's Fiesta run.

#FFVFJF #FF5FJF World 2 has arrived, and the differences in difficulty and enemy comp have meant I've had a fairly consistent use for !Gaia. A nice surprise.

Samurai was a good choice to swap earth crystal to, if for no other reason than it's fun to try a job I've never run before.

I also love having Hi-Potion access.

I am *extremely* tempted to use the Job Fair and donate for Samurai. I've had Dancer too many times (including finished runs) and it would be nice to try Samurai.

I could always swap out Dancer when I get Fifth Job, but I want to get rid of Geomancer too. Since I haven't started using Dancer yet, I can do Job Fair now, then happily swap Fifth Job for Geomancer.

Whatever, I'd rather have Geomancer than Beastmaster.

Jobs are currently Monk, Time Mage, Geomancer. Monk and Time Mage have been synergizing really well so far.

I have Fifth Job set, so right now unless something goes horribly wrong with that unlock, I'll be ditching Geomancer when the time comes.

#FFVFJF water crystal job is Time Mage. This is my first time getting TM in a Fiesta run, and as with Monk for wind crystal, it could be worse. Currently (grinding pre-Karnak), I'm having fun putting Barehanded on my TMs, unequipping weapons, and watching the chaos ensue.

Having a TM and Healing Staff means I have any, if single-target, healing at least.

It's been a few years, but I'm back on my FFVFJF (Final Fantasy V Four Job Fiesta) bullshit. I've been doing it (inconsistently, admittedly) for over a decade, and I'm glad to be back to it for the first time since 2023.

This year their donations are going to Trans Lifeline!

My wind crystal class is Monk. It could be worse.

Took a few tries, but finally beat Neo Exdeath. Equip Whips was a workhorse here, the Dragon Whisker can paralyze the Grand Cross portion while getting guaranteed critical hits! #ffv #ff5 #ffvfjf #ffvfjf2024

Took me a while to figure out that you need to set up Reflect before you release a Mammon, otherwise Bartz gets berserked instead of Shinryu. 😅 Once I got that, this was pretty easy. #ffv #ff5 #ffvfjf2024 #ffvfjf
