It's been a few years, but I'm back on my FFVFJF (Final Fantasy V Four Job Fiesta) bullshit. I've been doing it (inconsistently, admittedly) for over a decade, and I'm glad to be back to it for the first time since 2023.
This year their donations are going to Trans Lifeline!
My wind crystal class is Monk. It could be worse.

I finally finished my #FourJobFiesta Natural #FFV Run!
NeoExdeath was just the worst... I grinded up to level 48 and farmed 40 elixirs. Still barely made it. Dancer was never hitting her sword fights, it was a constant juggle of phoenix down/elixir to get the party back up. Nearly wiped with only my Bard up on a few HP. Eventually got down to the final part of the boss without even realising it, since Bezerker had been chipping away in the background!
Not doing Omega/Shinryu with this party.

- Faris: BardI've been running up against the limitations of only having one predictable damage dealer and no healers. Getting hi-potions helped, but some fights have just required a lot of grinding to get the numbers.

Had a lot of fun last year with a standard run and completed the game with all the major bosses, so decided to give it a go this year as a "Natural Run".
This run imposes restrictions on who can take which job. Bartz must take the 1st, Lenna the 2nd, etc.
So far, I'm two crystals in and have Black Mage and Bezerker. Healing is going to be tough...

Finally finished my #FFV #FourJobFiesta run!
Exdeath was a fun fight, and I ended up severely leaning on Chemist skills to mix up some buffs and protection. Took some effort to get the right timing to evade his White Hole attack in the first phase, then an exercise in damage and healing in the second.
The #FJF run was a really interesting way to play this game. It provides just enough mechanics and options that each fight becomes more like a puzzle to solve.

Most of the game was straightforward, but I ran into a wall on the three main bosses. Shinryu went down eventually with !Throw and Fuma Shurikens... Omega wasn't quite so straightforward...
Had to do a setup that was more complicated than any FF setup I've done. Chemist with 99 Elixirs/Dark Matters and float, two Zombie status characters, buff protections on the Chemist then chip away at his health...
