Ayer a la vuelta de Murcia de una comida con amigos me di cuenta d q en unos de los trenes hacia Cartagena,en el q no se podía llevar 🚲 (el q viene d Valencia),han puesto estos enganches.Me ha dado alegría verlos aunque no los he probado aún con la 🚲.Lo realmente problemático sigue siendo la incertidumbre en la mayoría al haber pocos trenes en frecuencia con pocos ganchos, pero por lo menos estos han mejorado!A ver si rectificaran pronto la regresión en #FEVE #RenfeAM

On 7 April 2025 the #Feve metre-gauge section between #PoladeSiero 🇪🇸 and #Infiesto of the C6 line (#Cercanías Oviedo) has been reopened after 8 months of closure. Therefore, the direct regional trains between #Oviedo and #Santander run through again without a rail replacement service.

@aroma @rail_ the problem I think is, there is sooo little people there, and the line so rural, that it's difficult that line could be profitable (or even close).

I would love for some ex- #feve lines to be electrified and improved, but maybe the Oviedo-Santander one is a better candidate

@rail_ to be fair to ourselves, Switzerland is also uniquely rich and compact, so, they kind of have the right situation... But yes, it's sad that so many lines were closed in the 80s

In #Valencia , actually, we have the old #feve Denia - Gandia line, which probably will be re-built soon... They could have just not closed it :blobhaj_sadreach:

Btw, #Valencia does have A LOT of narrow-gauge lines if you like that

A ver si esta vez fuera en serio la ampliación del #FEVE hacia el Mar Menor Cabo Palos y San Pedro (desde Los Nietos o desde La Unión -El Algar)y espero que tb hacia dentro de #Cartagena como se proponía la última vez que este tema estuvo en la mesa.

Es inadmisible la falta de infraestructura que tenemos en una zona con mucha población. Un servicio de cercanías con Murcia (probablemente lo ➕) y la ampliación del FEVE podría ser un buen comienzo!!

Estas fiestas he viajado mucho en tren. Concretamente en un solo día he hecho:
- Ortigueira - Ferrol en #FEVE
- Ferrol - Coruña en MD
- Coruña - Madrid en #AVLO
Y en ninguno de los tres nadie me ha pedido billete, ni he pasado ningún control de seguridad ni he visto ni un revisor. Yo no tengo picaresca y tenía todos los billetes comprados, pero alguien podría haberse hecho esos viajes gratis y de polizón. No me importa si no puedes pagar pero los billetes son tu seguro de viaje si pasa algo 😕

The seats are more like a bus, but as the line is short, it's confortable enough. I've went just to #LaUnion, because I've needed to take a train on #Cartagena (I'm on it right now hehe, back to #Murcia). Here in #Spain, all the #Feve lines are in the North (Basque Country, Galicia, etc), but this one in Murcia is the exception. (Other lines where given to Autonomic Administrations: #FGV, #FGC...)

Nunca había montado en un tren/línea de este tipo, y la verdad es que es como montar en tu autobús, como un Tranvía xD tienes que solicitar parada, si no hay nadie pasa del apeadero... Menos mal que parece que algo de personal tienen en el propio tren, que si no uno no se entera :blobcatgoogly:
La estación de #Cartagena #Feve/Ancho Métrico esta a 5min andando desde la otra estación, y el edificio es más discreto con viviendas y tal. De hecho, está junto a la estación de autobuses de la ciudad.
