While looking for a song, I came across a Christmas Melody performance by Akina Nakamori, and had to use it.

As I madly prep (by which I mean reams of last minute paperwork) for heading to the Ross Ice Shelf the snow is a good reminder. Doubt Chrissy will pop up from behind some random sastrugi but I live in hope.

Joy, Tracey Thorn, sung by the Chaps Choir. This is a perenial Christime-time favourite of mine since it was released back in 2012 on her brillant 'Tinsel and Light' album. I like this version by the Chaps Choir in particular because it has such a positive masculine energy about it, something you don't often find.
