I may not have stated this explicitly before, but I’m a brand ambassador for Ferris Wheel Press inks up in Canada, which has the delightful result of my getting new inks to try on a monthly basis. I’m currently playing with LAPIS LULLABIES, this time painted out with a quote by Grace Hartigan, for my studio space: “Art cannot be seized head on, it must be stalked, it is elusive.” This is combining in my head with our rewatch of JURASSIC PARK last night, such that I’m tempted to add “Clever girl” underneath, and declare ART to be a VELOCIRAPTOR.
