Ważna aktualizacja beta dla zegarków Garmin. Poprawia wydajność, ale jest jeden haczyk

Garmin rozpoczął udostępnianie nowej, publicznej wersji beta swojego oprogramowania (wersja 23.08) dla szeregu zaawansowanych zegarków sportowych i outdoorowych.

Aktualizacja, która trafia do uczestników programu Public Beta, przynosi poprawki błędów i optymalizacje wydajności dla posiadaczy popularnych modeli. Nowe oprogramowanie przeznaczone jest dla serii Fenix 7 i 7 Pro (w tym warianty 7S i 7X), Epix i Epix Pro (wszystkie rozmiary), a także dla modeli Enduro 2, Quatix 7 i MARQ Gen 2. Warto zaznaczyć, że tym razem aktualizacji nie otrzymają posiadacze zegarków Tactix 7 oraz MARQ Aviator Gen 2.

Garmin fenix 7 Pro i epix Pro – flagowe smartwatche dla kochających sport

Proces aktualizacji jest wdrażany stopniowo i obecnie (11.08.2025) objął około 50% użytkowników zapisanych do programu beta – otrzymują oni oprogramowanie automatycznie przez Wi-Fi lub Bluetooth. Co istotne, każdy chętny może ominąć kolejkę i pobrać aktualizację ręcznie, wchodząc w zegarku w Menu > System > Aktualizacja oprogramowania > Sprawdź aktualizacje. Ta opcja działa nawet dla osób spoza obecnej puli 50%.

Jest jednak jedno bardzo ważne zastrzeżenie. Garmin informuje, że instalacja oprogramowania beta w wersji 23.08 tymczasowo wyłącza funkcjonalność EKG w zegarkach z serii Fenix 7. Dla osób, dla których jest to kluczowa funkcja, lepszym rozwiązaniem będzie pozostanie przy obecnej, stabilnej wersji oprogramowania. Dostęp do EKG można przywrócić, wracając do oficjalnej wersji oprogramowania, ale będzie to wymagało ponownej konfiguracji. Funkcja EKG ma zostać ponownie włączona w późniejszej fazie cyklu beta, bliżej finalnego wydania.

einfach downloaden und wie dort beschrieben per usb auf die uhr schieben 😀​
garmin tools sind nicht notwendig.

2. Estimate how long the battery would last (better than the build-in estimation)
3. Notify the phone when a set threshold is reached during charging (to extend the battery lifetime)
4. Export battery data to cloud-storage
