A last bit of Doors....
One more image from #Prague, speaking again of #Doors.
And.a fitting bookend for a tribute to what we saw Wednesday in NYC, perhaps the last time for 2026 - in the Northeast -an
Indian Summer - nearly 80 degrees (F).
Now it's time to put on a sweater and get thee to a ballot box! Let the sun shine!
Always lovely to see, "Indian Summer"

More images of #Prague in a Flickr album (with many more albums from varied travel destinations as well as nature) @ https://flic.kr/s/aHsjXudtUr
#Art, #architecture, #beauty, and #history... Everywhere at once in #Prague
There are countless dramas & figures atop the rooftops here... And door insignias & coats of arms, reflecting address and station of the occupant. A favorite vintage image, re-discovered.

Another restoration/repost from Prague, this from inside an historic church inside the Prague Castle. "Angels of Hradcany".
This felt surreal and real... serious. These angels hover over the crypts of the Royal Mausoleum. Early-gen DSLR camera here.
Part of a Flickr album with many more images from across several visits and years. #Churches, #architecture #history

Revisiting some lost-now-found images from over 20 years of digital, many lost to Google +, and many still online in my own 'self-walking tour' collection @

Also in an "album" on Flickr, getting large.

I do ❤️ #Praha #Prague
Amazing #architecture #arts #history
Happy to finally have 30 years+ of photos back, after 2 weeks. Whew! Alive again… (digitally)
Randomly skimming around, seeing my years of work is all intact... And ah, I do love Prague!
I had a large Google+ Collection from Prague (poof!) and do still have a serviceable home-made album & walking tour of #Prague

#Praha has long been one of my favorite cities on earth, with its incredibly beautiful architecture, arts, culture, and history.
One more (vintage) Amsterdam image.

So, for many it is the end of vacation time, back to school, back to work, no more lazy days of swimming or hiking or sitting in the back yard with a cool drink.
Some lucky people can still enjoy some nice sultry days.
But I am being reminded often, of this fact and this song, so it must be true:
"Summer's Almost Gone"
Enjoy what we can!
Stay safe & sane.

Here's the street where this camera/hat/everything store was located.
"Old Arbat"
This photo was taken in a fascinating store in Old #Arbat, #Moscow (RU).
https://flic.kr/p/mvow9c
I was taken to this shop by my local host, insisting I needed a real Russian hat (it was winter!) As I chose my hat - or it was chosen - the shopkeeper took a keen interest in my Nikon camera (with which this photo was taken) & tried mightily to have me trade it for a more colorful Russian camera of my choice.
This was an interesting spot for #architecture too. See comment.

Here is Engine #9 of the Georgetown Loop narrow-gauge railroad, crossing Devil's Gate.
"The Devil's Gate High Bridge is the centerpiece of the Georgetown Loop Railroad—a curved iron trestle spanning 100 feet above Clear Creek Canyon. Built in 1884, the bridge represented cutting-edge engineering that allowed the railroad to gain elevation in the narrow canyon." - DenverSam.com
