For the first #Spacetober prompt launch vehicle I chose the original catstronaut Félicette, a Parisian stray tuxedo cat who was recruited into the French space program shown here with the Véronique AGI 47 sounding rocket launch vehicle which transported her to space. The most successful of 14 female cats trained for spaceflight, she was launched into space on 18 October 1963. 🧵1/n
