@_jocmp Just spotted your blog post titled "The Guts of a New Machine" and gotta say that I use Capy Reader to read #Feedbin on Android (thank you! Its great!) and recently installed ReadYou and then... quickly uninstalled ReadYou.
#CapyReader just "felt" better. I can't quite place why; it just did. 🤷
Make of that what you will.

Anyone seen a recent comparison of #RSS services? Specifically looking at #Inoreader, #Feedbin, #NewsBlur and #Feedly.

Slowly moving all email newsletters that drop into my inbox over to Feedbin... :pepe_cool:
Either that, or unsubscribing from them. :pepe_knife:

Just came across this fantastic #RSS reader for #Linux. It has a modern UI and syncs with #Feedbin, my RSS service of choice, as well as most others. It’s available as a flatpak, or in AUR for #Arch users (I’m running it on #FedoraSilverblue).

After spending about 6-8 hours last week trying to get #Refeed working, I tried out #Fusion which was alright but a little too simple. I then spent a couple hours on getting #Feedbin working and I was successful!
I've been using it since then for my #RSS needs and it's been great! It works well on my desktop/laptop and my #iPad. The only issue I have is that I already have about 26,000 unread items 😵💫

I relapsed... I got back into #RSS and spent several hours over my break going through unread feeds, unstarring articles in #Feedbin, and decluttering my feeds by unsubscribing to some I don't read
I can't help but feel like I wasted time doing that but I also feel like digitally decluttering is productive. After all, I apparently have 100,000 starred articles in #Feedbin :blobcatsweat: I think a lot of that was filters that cast too wide of a net that built up especially after I took a long break from RSS.
It also probably came from starring things that could easily have simply been bookmarked instead. I found out yesterday that I could unstar articles through the API. Maybe I can write a program to help mass unstar articles since neither Feedbin nor #Reeder (classic) have multi select.
This was more of a ramble but if anyone has tips on helping me wrangle my RSS feeds and saved/read-later articles I would love to hear them!

Hey, I wanted to chime in to let you know that #Feedbin does have read later functionality daverupert.com/2023/10/read...

Yes, I sill use an RSS Aggregator. I have been using #NetNewsWire along with #feedbin forever. I totally dig this combo. Are people still using feed readers, or am i just old?

I love @feedbin so much. After recently importing all my YouTube subscriptions into Feebin¹ I have been enjoying the experience with one annoyance: YouTube shorts are hard to identify and require triage to mark as read. Yesterday I poked around the Feedbin settings and was able to add a filter for items with media less than 90s long with the YouTube tag and boom! goodbye shorts.

Wow, 11 years using @feedbin just got my annual renewal to remind me. Still on the original plan! A whopping CAN$27 for the year.
