Feed2toot lleva dos años sin actividad en su repositorio y una alternativa que he encontrado por Github, no tiene licencia expresa.
¿Alguien sabe de más alternativas?

Years ago I used #feed2toot and it was fine. I have also tried https://feedsin.space/ but we want to publish from our own account. Happy to try #feediverse but since you're here I thought I'd ask first. 🙏

I have to note that moving accounts, and all followers with them, and updating the bots settings to post on the new accounts went much more smooth and easy than I anticipated!
Thanks #mastodon devs (and #feed2toot dev @carlchenet ) for making very convenient tools!

J'ai renouvelé la publication de ma veille #RSS avec #feediverse mon #feed2toot ne fonctionnait plus depuis fin juillet. Il est donc possible que certaines des informations publiées soient un peu datées ou encore que quelques événements se soient déjà déroulés DSL bonne lecture quand même.

Hm. Ich hab einen #feed2toot - #bot, der hier auf nrw.social bis irgendwann Oktober brav aus einem Blog-RSS getrötet hat. Dann war Sense. Api-Creds neu erstellt, Botscript läuft durch, nichts kommt hier an. Hat da irgend ein Update bei Masto was geändert, hab ich irgendwas grundlegendes verpasst, liegts an mir oder an der Instanz?

I finally got my letterboxd-to-fedi pipeline to behave more or less like i want it to - post only reviews, include the full review in the toot. I gotta say feed2toot is fucking versatile and amazing!

There's now @flypapers tooting all about #Drosophila, and @Rxiv_cytoskeleton is in its probation phase to toot everything that has a #cytoskeleton molecule name in its title or abstract. I've had to modify a little the #feed2toot code for this, I'll commit those changes when I've had time to check them in practice. @bortzmeyer @bioRxiv_biophys @DavidBrueckner

@GWeindel @DenisMeuthen You can also use #feed2toot to post RSS to the fediverse, see @bioRxiv_biophys e.g. Then I'm thinking of community-organised keyword based RSS parsing, just launched @mechanobiology to try that out.

Bon, l'installation d'un lecteur de RSS avec #feed2toot a l'air relativement simple. @sinelege_JBT on pourrait se lancer dans la mise en place de quelques bots pour relayer les infos institutionnelles ? Je pense aux fils d'annonces de la CEDH par exemple. J'ai un #raspi qui pourrait faire une partie du job mais à deux on couvrirait peut-être plus de choses.

Tried a self-crash course in #Python. Got the gist, got #Feed2Toot partly installed but couldn't register it. Plus #botsin.space hasn't replied to my request to create a bot account.
Any "for dummies" guidance out there? Pro tips? Mocking laughter? Or is straight-up learning #Python the only way to get it done?

Hoy he estado ocupado:
- instalando #raspbian en una #raspbi 1
- intentando instalar y configurar #feed2toot para levantar un bot noticiero en #mastodon
Algo me esta fallando. He seguido tanto la guia publicada por @victorhck en https://victorhckinthefreeworld.com/2018/02/07/publicar-feeds-rss-en-mastodon-automaticamente como la documentacion oficial de https://feed2toot.readthedocs.io/en/latest/index.html
Basicamente estos son los pasos que he seguido:
1. despues de instalar raspbian, he instalado pi, y con el feed2toot
2. he creado la cuenta en una instancia mastodon
3. he creado el usuario, carpetas y asignado la propiedad, haciendo copy&paste de la guia de Victor
4. como "pi" he ejecutado register_feed2toot_app y todo bien sin errores, copiando los archivos a /etc/feed2toot
5. he creado feed2toot.ini, hasftag.txt y rss.txt segun Victor
6. he ejecutado como "pi" feed2toot --populate-cache -c /etc/feed2toot/feed2toot.ini, pero no creo la feed2toot.bd
6b. he vuelto a ejecutar lo mismo pero con sudo, y tampoco nada en /var/lib/feed2toot/
6c. he vuelto a ejecutar lo mismo como "pi", pero usando el directorio /home/pi/ y aqui SI funciono sin problemas
7. despues ejecute sudo crontab -e y añadi la misma linea, PERO cambie de 0/25 a 0/1 para ver si corria cada minuto y ademas añadi al comando la opcion --limit 1 para enviar solo un mensaje cada vez
8. despues de 10 minutos no vi ningun resultado. Probe a usar feed2toot --dry-run -c ... y devolvio el siguiente error
feed2toot: error: unrecognized arguments: feed2toot.ini
9. probe a usar feed2toot --debug -l 1 -c ... y todo bien
Lo raro es que pareciera que CRON no se ejecutara
¿Hay forma de saber que pasa ahi?
Aclarar que manualmente va bien. Incluso probe a mover todo a una carpeta local (inseguro, pero por probar) y corre todo bien si lo ejecuto directamente, pero CRON pareciera no estar en ejecucion -

Just released Feed2toot 0.16 🎉🎊 improving the registration of the app to your Mastodon instance.
Feed2toot automatically parses rss feeds, identifies new posts and posts them on the Mastodon social network.

Ab sofort wird bei einem neuen #Eintrag aus einer #Liste an #Blogs #automatisiert ein #Toot unter @confabulatus #abgelegt und dadurch das #lokale #Archiv an #Toots mit #Hashtag noch #ausgebaut.

That was a real pain to do but I took the needed time to clean the code of Feed2toot. Still work to do but I'm pretty sure I'll release a new maintenance version soon, maybe this weekend.
So many parts I merged from merge requests and could not understand at the first read, although it's mostly mo code 😅
It's not very shiny work, but if the code is clean, it eases newcomers to understand the code and to offer merge requests.
