Not being a computer wizz but dumb enough to use Linux Mint because Windoze.

As far as I've been aware my PC was fine. This is the first time I'm encountering this (it is / was still going).
A lot of "timed out"s.
It seems to be going through every file it can find. 🤷

Do I wait or do I Off & On again?

EDIT: Typical I ask a question & the whole process comes to an end 🤦.
Still would be good to know if this means something is or has failed in the PC (through I may find out when I do the Off & On again thing😬)?

It isn’t easy for groups to migrate off the #TechBros #ShitSocialMedia platforms and those #Nepos know it and designed it that way. Those #F*&#ers also impose their own personal #FascistDreams on the platform because they can.

For a lot of reasons, it would be great if there were clever minds to apply it to the creation of a #Groups #MigrationTool to help with migration of Group accounts to the #Fedi. Maybe there are some? #FediHelp #FediTechHelp

So, I'm in need of some confirmation of how UEFI works. Apparently, I don't even need a bootloader, because my UEFI shell already has that capability to switch boot entries? So then, I'd I just need to create an /EFI/BOOT directory in the EFI system partition, (from what I see it's often mounted to /boot or /boot/efi in Linux) and make a directory for each entry, containing an .EFI executable, a kernel image (vmlinuz) and the initramfs?

If I'm not wrong so far, great. Now, how do EFI stubs work? If it's the kernel booting itself from UEFI, do I not need an .EFI executable? Do I just dump a stub-compatible vmlinuz kernel image in /EFI/BOOT ?

Hey all. I have a strange issue and I can't get to the bottom of it. I'm following two accounts on the @bawü.social instance:

@stadtbibliothekstuttgart and @stuttgart

I noticed, that for quite some time now I can't see any of their posts in my timeline. Does anyone have an idea why? I can open their profiles and view everything there, all good - but nothing is shown in my timeline...

What could potentially cause this behaviour. Could this be a setting on the vivaldi instance? Or is it something in my personal settings? A glitch?
